ABOUT STUART BROWN
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Stuart E. Brown is a licensed attorney in Washington State. He was admitted to the Bar in December 2004. After transitioning from more than two decades as a mental health and sexual offense specialist, Stuart E. Brown obtained his law degree and practices law in the areas of family and divorce law, child custody disputes, DSHS dependency cases, and sexual offense allegations and risk analysis issues. Offices are located in Everett, and Bellingham, Washington and will soon be licensed in British Columbia with offices in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
DOCTORAL DEGREE
Dr. Brown obtained his doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama), in 1980, specializing in Community Mental Health Issues.
MASTERS DEGREE
Stuart Brown obtained his Masters Degree in Community Clinical Psychology from The University of Southwestern Louisiana (Lafayette, Louisiana), in 1975.
BACHELORS DEGREE
Stuart Brown obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Oregon (Eugene, Oregon), in 1972.
LEGAL EDUCATION BACKGROUND
Stuart Brown graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law (FCSL) in Jacksonville, Florida with Honors and received a Jurist Doctorate on June 18, 2003. He then sat for and passed the Florida Bar Exam in the summer of 2003; and sat for and passed the Washington Bar in the summer of 2004 and was sworn in as a Washington Attorney on 12/20/04. He currently serves on the Continuing Education Committee of the Washington Bar. Washington State Bar Association Number 35928.
